Support

Lots of time and energy is put into making this ministry possible.  Students and volunteers offer their gifts of time and talent.

So how can I help?

There are several areas in which we need your support.

Prayer.
We are always in need of your prayers.  Please pray for us and pray about your part in our success

Funds.
Unlike parishioners in a congregation, students find themselves unequipped to offer the significant financial support that it takes to run a ministry such as this. At this time, we are supported by the Diocese of Michigan, and by Congregations and Individuals from all over the state of Michigan. We are excited about our future, moreover, we're working to make sure that this campus ministry is endowed for our future. If you are interested in offering your support, please contact Chaplain Sarah Midzalkowski. Also, if you attend a local Episcopal Congregation, please consider encouraging your Vestry to support us with 10% of your congregation's outreach budget.

Why should I support  Canterbury MSU?

The reasons are plentious. We work with students from all over Michigan and from all over the world.  While we see many students from Michigan, we also see many Asian, African, and Mexican American students.  This means that we're contributing to the future diversity, health and well-being of the Episcopal Church.

We're recruiting future leaders for the Episcopal Church.  Campus ministries from across the country are again feeding our seminaries with the future leaders of the Episcopal Church.  Our intent is to make that a reality for our ministry.

If you are interested in making a financial contribution to Canterbury MSU, please contact the Rev. Sarah Midzalkowski at 517-351-7160 or at emmsu@msu.edu.
